The Uniform Structure is to be followed by everyone in the Blaine County Sheriff's Office. The Uniform Structure should be followed at all times; otherwise, departmental punishment may occur.
Vest policies are listed on the Uniform/Vehicle Structure. All marked vests worn by patrol unnits must be black.
During high-risk situations or priorities you may utilize any BCSO ballistic helmet.
Should you have any issue/suggestion in regard to the uniform structure, please refer to the BCSO Patrol District Lead and/or Advisor.
As a BCSO Deputy, you are permitted to have tattoos. You may not have any gang-affiliated or face tattoos. All tattoos must be below the neck.
Department command staff may enforce a "Class of the Day" that requires all BCSO deputies to utilize a certain uniform class throughout the day.
The BCSO Sheriff reserves the right to enforce a strict class uniform on those who fail to comply with the Uniform Structure.
