From Deputy to Lance Corporal, promotions are determined primarily by:
Patrol Activity
Activity within any responsibility you may have (division supervisor, training academy, etc).
Recent internal disciplinary actions.
Recent praises.
Time spent in BCSO at your current rank.
Attitude/professionalism on duty and in Discord.
Promotions from Corporal to a Supervisory position are determined primarily by:
Excel in all aspects required of a patrol deputy (see previous section).
Taking or showing a willingness to take tickets.
Completing all the required steps set by the Corporal Program in a timely manner.
Displaying leadership qualities by showing initiative and being an effective role model.
Promotions from the rank of Sergeant to Captain are determined primarily by:
Excellence in all aspects required of a patrol deputy (see "Non-Supervisor Promotions").
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to self-improve.
Display an unbiased approach and demonstrate that you are infallible when handling department issues.
Participate in the development of the department by suggesting policies, amendments, and procedures for various aspects of the department.
Display a thorough knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedure, JDC Operational Policies, and San Andreas Penal Code.
Lead by example in taking department inquiries, reports, and conducting investigations in the main SADRP Discord.
Cadet - Must attend basic training within 30 days of hire.
Probationary - Must complete the probationary phase and all of its requirements within 60 days of training completion.
Deputy up to Lance Corporal - Standard promotion cycle. Must demonstrate a strong understanding of the penal code and internal/JDC policy.
Corporal - 2 Month Cooldown | A proven record of decisiveness, strategic thinking, and acting as a role model. Within 2 months, complete the Corporal Program & Sergeant Exam.
Supervisor up to Colonel - 2 Weeks | Must display excellence as a supervisor. The cooldown is a minimum requirement, and supervisors must be prepared to remain at their rank until a promotion is earned or available, depending on the department's needs. Supervisor promotions must be preempted by a Supervisor LOI, which can be found in the Supervisor Information channel within the department Discord.
