Once passed training Probationary Deputy must complete 2 Ride-alongs with 2 different Mentors. Each ride-along must take a hour each.
Must complete the check list down below. ( If possible )
Introductory Ride-along. For the first Ride Along the Mentor will be driving and showing how stuff is handled, teaches how to use MDT, any tips they have and gives all their knowledge to them.
If possible they must complete such tasks:
Traffic Stops 2x ( Complete a traffic stop, start to finish. )
Arresting a person 1x ( Complete a arrest start to finish, search the person, read the rights... )
Medical 2x ( Give medical to any patient, downed officer or civilian )
Call response 1x ( Respond to a 911 call or backup request with the correct response, clearing intersections... )
Vehicle Pursuit 2x ( Being involved in a vehicle pursuit, if possible completing a pit maneuver. )
Foot Pursuit 1x ( Chasing a suspect on foot, if possible tasing then giving proper medical. )
This ride-along focuses more on if the Probationary Deputy is ready to ride by themselves. The Probationary Deputy will be driving, Mentor will be observing, giving recommendations and helping him out.
If possible must complete such tasks:
Investigating 1x ( Checking CCTV, GSR testing and more. )
Traffic Stop 1x ( Complete a traffic stop, start to finish. )
Call Response 2x ( Respond to a 911 call or backup request with the correct response, clearing intersections... )
Vehicle Pursuit 2x ( Being involved in a vehicle pursuit, if possible completing a pit maneuver. )
Foot Pursuit 1x ( Chasing a suspect on foot, if possible tasing then giving proper medical. )
Once completed and Mentor deems Probationary Deputy is ready to patrol alone the Probationary Deputy will start driving alone for 1 week. Once that is completed he will move onto the Evaluation Ride-along
Probationary Deputy must be proficient in at least 5 out of the 9 stuff listed below. If not he will need to wait a week, driving by him self or if Lead Instructor authorizes, another Mandatory Ride-along
Traffic Stop ( Complete a traffic stop, start to finish. )

Medical ( Give medical to any patient, downed officer or civilian )
Call Response ( Respond to a 911 call or backup request with the correct response, clearing intersections... )

Driving ( Driving safely, correctly, following road laws... )
General Knowledge ( Knows questions asked to him about the SOP )
Vehicle Pursuit ( Being involved in a vehicle pursuit, if possible completing a pit maneuver. )
Foot Pursuit ( Chasing a suspect on foot, if possible tasing then giving proper medical. )
If completed with at least 5 out of the 9 items. A 8 hour vote will be placed by Lead Mentors, if the majority agrees to promote. Probationary Deputy will be promoted to Deputy and then has access to more divisions, driving alone and more!
All Probationary Deputies must complete this phase within 2 months (60 days) or they will be removed from the department due to inactivity.
If certain situations arise, a LOA (Leave Of Absence) may be of necessity, however this is extremely rare as well most of the time it will only be accepted if it is for Military duties.
Punishments give to you at any point of the Probationary Phase will results in a extension, it will depend on what kind of punishment is given.
Verbal - None
Written warning - 1 week extension
Strike - 2 weeks extensions
This will be logged on their roster, stating "Probationary Extension – X Weeks"
