You are required to meet the activity standards for your assignment within the Academy. However, only meeting said requirements will most likely not give you a chance at a promotion within the Academy. Satisfying the requirements of a lower-ranked Officer may also be acceptable.
Must make an attempt to evaluate 1 FTA a month at a time that suits the FTO-E and the FTO.
Must make an attempt to host 1 cadet training a month at a time that suits the FTO and the cadet.
Complete at least 2 ride-alongs with probationary deputies.
Deputies with specific Department assignments may request an exemption from these standards from the Academy Administration (FTO-A+ or Heads). The request must include a valid justification for how their assignment hinders completing Academy requirements.
For any FTA, FTO or FTO-E under the rank of Corporal the Activity Check is conducted after Promotion Panel.
For any FTA, FTO or FTO-E holding the rank of Corporal or higher, the Activity Check is conducted one day before Promotion Panel.
For any FTA, FTO or FTO-E under the rank of Corporal, inactivity within the Academy program will just result in their removal from it.
For any FTA, FTO or FTO-E holding the rank of Corporal or higher, any documented inactivity or failure to uphold prescribed training standards will result in the immediate loss of promotion eligibility.
Strikes are issued exclusively by FTO-A+. Accumulating two strikes within six months results in removal and a one month suspension from the Academy.
Strikes will be active for 6 Months
