For the supervisory team to review any deputy's activity, all members have their time on duty recorded. When you clock on duty, the time automatically clocks from that point until you clock out, or until you leave the game.
If the automatic time log system does not work, for whatever reason, you may manually start your time log by typing "/timelogstart" to start your patrol, and "/timelogend" to end your patrol. If you forget to clock in any of your time, you may go into the BCSO department panel and manually log your time.
Deputies in the Blaine County Sheriff's Office are only expected to patrol for 2 hours per month and document those patrols through the methods explained above.
If a deputy fails to meet the 2-hour minimum requirement for 2 months in a row, they may be removed from BCSO.
If a supervisor fails to meet the minimum patrol requirement of 7 hours in a month without a documented absence, they may be demoted outside of the supervisory team. If a supervisor is marked ROA, they must patrol a minimum of 3 hours a month.
A reduction of activity (or ROA) is requested in the SADRP Discord through a BCSO inquiry ticket. You can create one by going to #new-tickets and selecting "LEO/EMS/DOJ" -> "Department Application/Inquiry/Report" -> "Department Inquiry" -> BCSO. Members marked as ROA are expected to complete approximately half of their normal duties and patrol activity. ROA is suited for when a deputy is particularly busy IRL and/or going through a life event that requires them to dedicate their time and said deputy will be unsure of their activity for the duration of the ROA.
If you are a department supervisor and require an ROA greater than 6 months, you will be demoted to a suitable rank where your absence will not impact department operations or your ability to complete your duties & responsibilities upon your return. Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the department Heads Team, which requires an announcement with reasoning to be provided to the department supervisory team.
Deputies at the rank of Lance Corporal or below can request an ROA for up to 9 months. Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the department Heads Team, which requires an announcement with reasoning to be provided to the department supervisory team.
If a member has been on ROA that month, they are not to be promoted.
