Any Instructor as per their roles and responsibilities, are to complete a specified number of cadet trainings or the equivalent. Below are the equivalent ratios for 1 cadet training.
1 Cadet Training = 3 sub-division trainings
2 Cadet Training = 1 SRT Training
1 Cadet Training = 1 Detective or Vice Training
To receive a promotion within the Academy, you need to meet all requirements of the position you wish to gain, and excel past the current standards set within this SOP. All promotions must be approved by the Lead Instructors.
All Mentor’s must assist in 1 cadet training prior to their evaluation training. It is the responsibility of the Mentor to organize a suitable time for themselves to host a training and an Lead Instructor be able to attend.
For Mentor’s of the rank of Senior Deputy, they can request an Lead Instructor for a evaluation to the Instructor position if they have Mentored 1x cadet training, completed 2x Ride-alongs and held the position as Mentor for greater than 1 Month.
