Corporals will be required to remain at their current rank for two months. During this time, they are required to make an effort towards completing the other steps listed herein and will be observed by a supervisor holding the rank of Master Sergeant or above. During this observation, notes will be taken regarding their performance, which will be reviewed at the end of the program to determine whether they will be promoted or demoted.
Corporals will be required to complete four ride-alongs with supervisors holding the rank of Master Sergeant or above. During this time, they are to either observe the supervisor and take note of what supervisorial qualities will be expected of them while asking questions and being an active participant OR taking the lead while the supervisor observes and takes note their performance and whether or not they posess the qualities we look for in our supervisors.
Corporals will be required to handle two department applications while under the guidance of a supervisor holding the rank of Master Sergeant or above. These applications will be offered in the Supervisor in Training channel on Discord. Corporals will be expected to process the application from start to finish, being guided by the supervisor, and they'll be expected to ask questions when they are unsure so as to guarantee the application is handled correctly and promptly.
Corporals will be required to handle one department report & investigation while under the guidance of a supervisor holding the rank of Master Sergeant and above. Corporals may only handle reports on Cadets, Probationary Deputies, Deputies, and Senior Deputies. Corporals will be expected to handle the report (and subsequent investigation, if applicable) from start to finish and will be expected to ask questions when they are unsure so as to guarantee the report (and subsequent investigation, if applicable) is handled correctly and promptly.
