Responsible for the development of the Field Training Academy.
Oversees all operations pertaining to the onboarding & development of new deputies.
Implements & updates policy and procedures pertaining to the Field Training Academy.
Coordinates projects set forth by the FTA District Lead.
Assists lead instructors/mentors in ensuring smooth operation of the Field Training Academy.
Promoted by District Lead and Advisor
Promotes Mentors to Instructor
Highest rank of the Field Training Division. ( District Lead and Advisor still above )
Evaluates / overwatches Mentors and Instructors
Forwards suggestions.
Ensures that the academy is training deputies to a level which is acceptable to the department
Completes 1 Cadet training per Month or the equivalent.
Picked by Lead Instructor, Must be Mentor before hand ( Can drop it after being promoted unless decided otherwise )
Assist Cadets and Probationary units by giving trainings.
Provides feedback and suggestions
Completes 2 Cadet trainings per Month or the equivalent.
Achieved by applying at Deputy+ or automatically given at Corporal+
Mentors Probationary Units.
Reaches out to Probationary Units.
Completes 3 Ride-alongs a Month
