Who we are

A county department with a frontier beat

01

Patrol the county

Deputies cover Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, Harmony, Paleto Bay and every road between them. Long response distances mean every deputy works independently and backs each other up.

02

Train every deputy

Every deputy comes up through the Field Training Academy: cadet training, probationary ride-alongs and evaluations before they patrol alone.

03

Specialize

Once off probation, deputies can join SRT, the Detective Bureau, K-9, Traffic Enforcement, the Game Wardens or Air Support, and train up through each unit's own ranks.

Sub-divisions

Units of the Sheriff's Office

Every sub-division is staffed by sworn deputies who also patrol.

Chain of command

From Cadet to Sheriff
