The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office is committed to protecting the lives, property and rights of all people, to maintain order and to enforce the law.

Train every deputy
Every deputy comes up through the Field Training Academy: cadet training, probationary ride-alongs and evaluations before they patrol alone.
Specialize
Once off probation, deputies can join SRT, the Detective Bureau, K-9, Traffic Enforcement, the Game Wardens or Air Support, and train up through each unit's own ranks.

New deputies start as Cadets in the Field Training Academy. Here is the path:
- ApplySubmit a Sheriff's Office application through the SADRP Discord.
- Cadet trainingLearn county policy, radio and traffic stops with a Field Training Officer, within your first 30 days.
- ProbationPatrol as a Probationary Deputy for up to 45 days: complete your required ride-alongs and probationary checklist with the Field Training Academy.
- DeputyPatrol solo and send a Letter of Interest to join a sub-division.
